About Swift Modern

Some people walk into a room and you just feel brighter, more elevated.

That's what the right piece of jewelry does. Not louder. Not more. Just brighter. More of you. 

As a self-diagnosed introvert, I've spent my whole life tuning into that ‘brighter’ feeling. I’m never the loudest voice in the room, so I learned to establish my presence visually and give myself that boost of confidence to say what needs to be said.

That’s what I think jewelry and my personal style does for me. It lets me stand differently without saying a thing. Not that my voice isn’t important, but sometimes non-verbal presence is critical to let the world know that you have a point of view. 

Swift Modern exists because I’m always searching for those pieces that make me feel more elevated, but I rarely find them. Jewelry that is modern without being cold and serious, interesting without being ‘out there’. I’m also a massive vintage collector and love combining my pieces with vintage.

I design everything from the clean lines and pearls of Ligne, to the rich gemstone combinations of Mixte, to the sculptural handmade shapes of Forme. Sourcing materials personally is so important because gemstones differ greatly and because no two baroque pearls are identical. Handmaking the pieces in Forme enables me to create texture and color in new ways. 

It’s old school, but the brand has my name in it. It was a big decision but the right one. It represents the me right now, the me I was ten years ago, and the me I can’t wait to become 10 years from now. Always confident, always considered. And, anyone that knows me will tell you that I don’t wait for an occasion to dress up or have a cocktail.
